Math application Geometric shapes supplements existing teaching material and aids in the teaching environment. Moreover, it serves as an electronic source of examples. It can be used by students as well as teachers. In fact, parents too, when checking their children’s homework, can make use of it. The application was developed with the aim of enhancing and supplementing the teaching process.
The math application Geometric shapes has three main functions.
1. "Help" is used to obtain basic information about a given body.
2. "Examples" - after selecting the difficulty, math application Geometric shapes generates a random examples and the user must calculate area and perimeter (2D - square, rectangle, rhombus, a parallelogram, trapezoid, triangle, regular polygon, circle) and the volume / surface area (3D - cube, block, square pyramid, truncated pyramid, rotary cylinder, rotary cone, truncated cone of revolution, ball).
3. "Check result" - a user set values and application Geometric shapes calculate the rest of values. For example, in the case of formation - square, the user enters the content and application calculates the remaining values - side a and perimeter.
